Absolutely loved this place! Came here on a Saturday around 11:10 AM without booking. Three groups were already lined up, but luckily we got in right away when they opened! Just a heads-up for anyone planning to visit: they have a 1-item-per-person policy for lunch until 2:00 PM, which is totally fair for such a popular spot. It was such a beautiful, relaxing experience. The space is gorgeous and the food feels so nourishing for the body. It’s officially one of my favorite spots in Tokyo now. Don't skip this gem when you're in Omotesando!

Brown Rice is a refuge. Tucked into a quiet corner of Omotesando, it became the place my partner and I returned to as often as we possibly could during our two weeks in Tokyo. It is not an exaggeration to say that Brown Rice kept us alive, and markedly improved the quality of our trip. The atmosphere is inviting and calm. Both the indoor and outdoor seating areas are lovely, and the staff are warm, attentive, and quietly kind in a way that made each visit feel like a small reset for the nervous system. The food is delicious, fresh, and genuinely nourishing. We left every meal with a happy stomach, feeling revived and refreshed rather than weighed down. I am still thinking about the strawberry matcha latte. If a Brown Rice cookbook existed, I would pay any amount of money for it and cook from it every day. A note for fellow travelers: the internet vastly undersells how difficult it is to find healthy, vegetarian, and/or vegan food in Tokyo. The city is enormous, and yet the scant few vegan options often lean heavily on highly processed soy meat. Brown Rice is the exception, and a profound one. If you're going to Tokyo, put Brown Rice on your list. Then go back. And then go back again.

I visited this vegan restaurant in Omotesando that felt like a hidden gem. Even though it’s right in the center, you walk down a small alley and suddenly find yourself surrounded by nature — it no longer feels like Tokyo. There was a short wait before getting a table, but the atmosphere was worth it. For lunch the menu didn’t have too many options, but the food was fresh, flavorful, and very well prepared. The staff were incredibly kind and spoke English, which made the experience even smoother. Overall, I left very satisfied and would definitely recommend it.

The atmosphere looked very nice and quiet from the outside, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it was not relaxing at all. The seating is extremely cramped, you sit so close to the next table that you can hear all of their conversations, and whenever the server reaches over, it feels like someone is right on top of you. The food portions were very small and minimal, yet the prices were extremely high for what was served. The set meal did not taste good at all. On top of that, the matcha latte was the worst I’ve ever had in my life! It was clumpy, overly sweet, and unpleasant to drink. The service was also disappointing. The waitress made no effort to communicate. Whenever we tried to speak with her, she ignored us. She did not explain the dishes or provide any introduction at all. Overall, the food and experience were both very disappointing. I would not recommend this place.

The service and atmosphere were wonderful. I made a reservation in advance through the TableCheck app. The menu is fully vegan. The food isn’t particularly spicy or flavorful, but it’s pleasant and easy to enjoy. What really stood out to me was the service — from start to finish, the staff were exceptionally kind and attentive.
